Monday night I went out and bought new shirts and pants (no, I never did find the missing pants).

This morning, after being up cooking until midnight, I was shuffling around the kitchen getting my cereal, and bent down to pick something up.

*RRRRRRRIP*

I panic, and start grabbing myself trying to find the tear. Then, I realise; my boxers have just split in half. The pants are safe.

At least it happened while I was still at home.

In other news, the cafeteria's latte bar makes a mean gingerbread chai latte, though I don't really think the word "chai" has any meaning left in this context.

Yeah, I think they put it in to keep people from driving around going to starbucks multiple times during the day.

I think this just reinforces the fact that you need new underwear, dearest.

*sigh*

Alas, for the veteran underwear. A dirge for them, the doubly ripped, in that they ripped so young.

though I don't really think the word "chai" has any meaning left in this context.

The abuses that word has been put to never cease to drive me crazy... And the irony is, all it really means is "tea". The spiced Indian kind is properly called masala chai, not just chai, and it's the word masala that refers to the spices.
