wargh?!

So, neeuqdrazil is sick. Boo!
I drove us back from Kingston, and was drifting to sleep, so I stopped for awful, awful Horton's coffee. How can people drink that stuff?

Since getting home at around 5, I have gone to the store, and bought a large quantity of vegetables.

I've also hit the LCBO and stocked up on cheap whisk(e)y from Ireland, Canada and America.

I've run a load of dishes through.

I've installed a set of shelves including a wine rack in the boot closet. I've also torn my right knuckle open, but the bleeding has at least stopped.

I may want to get to shopping up that basket of carrots and the bunch of celery, and maybe consider dinner that is not made of distilled malted barley.

if you really want to acquire a lot of good local produce for reasonably cheap prices, come out here some friday night and we'll hit up the St Jacobs Farmers Market early saturday morning :). we're heading into the height of the local season right about now.

i'll even start your morning off with *real* coffee, roasted and ground from green bean to your specifications while you stare blearily at the toaster watch :)

The carrots i picked up today were actually local - this is the only time of year to get Ontario produce from my Evil Corporate Masters.

Annoyingly, I chopped an entire litre of carrots and a whole bunch of celery. Then it was 10pm and all I had the energy to make was krafty dinner. So I threw in some carrots, celery and some of last year's frozen local peppers to make cajun KD. *sigh*

Next time I'm at your place in the morning, though, damn the torpedoes, I'm having a cup of coffee.
