Things continue to grow tense at my job. Another three people have been quietly shuffled out the door. I suspect there will be more before the 14th; that's the day the bonuses are handed out. I suspect management will want everyone who's going, gone before they get bonuses.
Cost-cutting, you know, since my employer is in such dire financial straights, what with making record profits and all.
I am wondering if the knife will hit my department. If it does, its relatively common knowledge who will get the axe (though not to the people in question).
