Well,that sucked

Summer's definitely over. How do I know? The heating system kicked in at work today while I was at the gym, for the first time since last winter. I now know that the hvac system here has the same problem as the old office - during the off-season, mold grows in the system, which I happen to be very allergic to.

Connsequently, my gym workout got cut short by coughing and my throat closing.I took a hit off of my inhaler in the hopes of finshing my workout, but my breathing didn't recover fully, and I was starting to get dizzy and shaky, so I grabbed my stuff and stumbled outside to where the air was less toxic.

Now I am sitting in my car waiting for the shaking and wheezing to subside so I can drive home.

*Ick* I don't suppose yelling at the gym manager to clean keep the hvac system clean would make a difference?

And wow, I'm glad Boy doesn't have that problem with his asthma.

It's not just the gym - it's the entire four story building I work in. I seem to be fated to run into this a couple times a year wherever I work.

Sounds like a workman's comp lawsuit begging to be born. I don't know if things work the same in Canada, but I'm pretty sure in America it's illegal to subject workers to unnecessary conditions that endanger their health. Make them clean out the HVAC system! Good luck staying healthy.

Well that just sucks big donkey balls. :-(

I'd still try to complain to somebody, if possible. You shouldn't have to suffer.
