Ow.

Back is out. I'm working from home today while I hobble around with a cane - driving seems to make it worse. I'd hoped it would be improved this morning. Not so much. At 9, I am going to call and see if I can get in to see an RMT today. I am trying to avoid taking anything with advil in it because my stomach is pretty upset to begin with.

That really sucks. Hope you get in to see the RMT and that it helps.

So you don't think me a random fellow: AmberConner here. I've been reading your LJ. I was the Black Mage in your Amber/Fables game ;)

Back stuff officially sucks :/

Your milleage may vary, but my doc told me to take advil (or any of its cousins) with food to coat your stomach and that it helps with the side effects there. Might be worth a try, in the least. My experience here (I have back issues too) is that a 1/3 cup yogurt, some toast or the like will generally help divert the stomach issues with ibuprofen-type medicines.

Good luck and hope you feel better soon!

I'm really lucky that I was able to work from home today, so I could get a mid-day appointment.

Oh, ow. (gentle hugs) I can recommend a good chiropractor there if you need one.

The RMT helped quite a bit. I've got an appointment for physio next week, too - that should help.

As near as I can tell, either overdid it on squats or just had bad form. My hips were sore for a few days, and eventually that put pressure on my back, making walking difficult.

A trip to the RMT has me walking unassisted again, but I'm probably overdue for a trip to physio to revisit injury avoidance stuff again.
