On the plus side, I made it to the gym today.
On the down side, I jogged a bit too much, and have a sore ankle. No more jogging this week.
On the plus side, my back is less sore than it was yesterday.
My weight's really out of control. I'm heavy enough that alcohol isn't affecting me nearly as much as it should.
As such, I'm trying to come up with a reward system. I know what I need to do to lose weight, but I've let my resolve weaken.
I'm going to set myself rewards of things I won't buy until I've lost a certain amount of weight.
No new LCD monitor, no matter how cheap they are.
No new hard drives for the linux server, no matter how much stuff has to get moved off onto other machines as the disk fills up again and again.
No new booze. This is going to be a hard one. I'm not going to stop drinking, but until I lose X pounds, I'm not buying anything new.
No Wii, no PS/3, no HD TV, no bluray.
This way, even if I don't lose the weight, I'll be saving a whack of money.
