huh

Last week, at the gym, I found a re d gel cap on the floor. I picked it up and took a look at the pill.

Novofen, which according to the internets is an estrogen inhibitor. Part of a steroid regimen.

I no longer feel quite so bad about not being as built as the other guys at the gym who go as often as I do.

i suppose someone with estrogen-receptive breast cancer could have dropped it... but given the setting, that's probably less likely.

And really, my gym has less muscle mass than average, since it's a corporate one - all members are working for my employer.

I could also be used by someone (like me) who has a BRCA1 gene mutation and is at high risk of developing breast cancer. We represent about 2% of the population.

Still, given the circumstances, probably not.

I wonder what the intersection between that mutation and intersexed persons presenting as male. Then add on the maximum sample size of about 2500 for my building. :)

Should work wonderfully vegan - the only reason I went with lard over shortening is that neither of us on this trip are supposed to be eating soy, and soy oil was ingredient #1 on the vegetable…

That looks great. The opposite of what I'm trying to do the next time I make bannock (gluten's fine, dairy isn't) but now I'm inspired.

The trick is that it requires either an oven or an actual camp fire. We might be able to take it to the singing fire - one can make the packets up in advance, then rotate them through the irons.

That fire-roasted sweet bannock sounds amazing. Is this a thing we could try at KG?

I don't know about you, but this is all part of my general scheme to be someone my teenaged self would have thought was cool. Or maybe become Batman. Either is good.
